More than 40 years of age

For people over 40 years of age there are no single multifunctional glasses. One should have several pairs and use them depending on the performed activities, as well as doctor-prescribed contact lenses.

1. Progressive clear anti-reflective HVL UV lenses. Depending on the severity of the defect, lenses can be made thinner, which gives them a more-aesthetic appearance and increases their safety (they are made of 1.60 or 1.67 index materials, and the thinnest – of 1.74 index materials).    PERFECT FOR – office work, especially computer work and several-hour-long reading sessions, etc.
3. Addpower or Lecture progressive clear anti-reflective lenses.
   PERFECT FOR – reading and computer work.
4. Progressive anti-reflective HVL UV sun lenses for driving on a sunny day. Lenses used for driving should not be tinted more than 70% as in most cases vehicles are already equipped with tinted windscreens that block around 10% of the light. Depending on the severity of the defect, lenses can be made thinner, which gives them a more aesthetic appearance and increases their safety (they are made of 1.60 or 1.67 index materials, and the thinnest – of 1.74 index materials). The best image reproduction, however, is guaranteed by individualised tinted lenses marked with the iD symbol, e.g. Hoyalux iD MyStyle V+.

5. HBC SPORT anti-reflective clear HVL UV lenses are best for those who like to wear sports glasses with a very large face form angle. Depending on the severity of the defect, lenses can be made thinner, i.e. made of 1.60 index materials. There are also tinted lenses used in sports sunglasses.
   PERFECT FOR – cycling, skiing, running, etc.
6. Please note that you should always have a spare pair of glasses and several pairs of doctor-prescribed one-day multifocal contact lenses.
