The unique chemical structure of silicone, combined with the Aquaform® Comfort Science technology by CooperVision®, creates a network of very effective channels that transport oxygen through the lens much more efficiently. Therefore, less silicone is needed to achieve optimal oxygen permeability, which leaves space for a more hydrophilic material, thus allowing the creation of a lens that combines the advantages of a silicone lens with those of a hydrogel lens.
